NEWBURYPORT — City Marshal Mark Murray and Fire Chief Stephen Bradbury III report that the Newburyport Police and Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
On Wednesday, March 13, at approximately 11:14 a.m., Newburyport Police and Fire were called to the intersection of High and Marlboro streets for a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.
First responders arrived to find an adult male pedestrian suffering injuries that appeared to be non life-threatening. That individual was taken by ambulance to Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
The driver of a 2009 Lexus sport utility vehicle that was involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
The crash remains under investigation by Newburyport Police.
